Hey Guys,

I have seen a lot of articles that basically give an "overview" or like tips, on how to answer a question.
However, I haven't seen a guide out there that basically has a sample answer, to a question and then a solid critique of it to a med school interview.
Is there any thread/article/guide on the forums or anywhere else that has this kind of thing?

Quite frankly, I'm not too sure on how to prepare for an interview( or even how long you should take in trying to come up with your answers) . .. I have looked over some youtube videos, have a solid list as to what the med schools might ask.

I'm not too sure on how to begin formulating my answers....but I do have the guidelines for formulating them.

How would you know if the interview answer that you gave, is appropriate in your context?
Ideas?

I will look into that book.

I see on Amazon, some people liked it and some didn't . . .. its surprising that there are only like 15 reviews and yet, so many people who are interviewing.

Anyway, so are there other resources that I can use to jumpstart this interview prep process?

Or should I just wait till I finish my secondaries in order to start prepping for the interview process?

From my experience, there is no cookie cutter way to answer interview questions. The reason why there aren't too many interview question guides online is bc the interview should be something that's solely about 'you'. Your ticket to succeeding in your interview isn't based on some guide written by someone, but based on you, your experiences, and what you can bring to a medical school. The only advice I can give is that you should practice a lot. Get a sample interview question list, and literally record yourself while answering them. Look at your body language, your mannerisms, and work on your body language. Really try to work on the traits that you have that will be of benefit to the school.

Most questions asked at interviews have no right or wrong answers. If you're looking for an algorithm, you're on a fool's errand.

Your answers have to come from your heart, be well articulated and reasoned.
