I'll be starting my CA-1 year next July. What do you guys/gals recommend to prepare for it? It is supposedly very different from your PGY-1 year. The program that I will be going to will have 2-3 months of no calls in the beginning and I will be paired up with another resident to an upper level/attending during this time. Is this enough? For those of you who are CA-1 and up what would you have wished you had done differently?
