i did not take the last quarter of english during my first year, do i have to finish this last quarter for med school, it is annoying simply because the next year results in me having to break a sequencial class for this requirement?

do all my premed requirements have to be done by the time I apply to med school or by the time I marticulate. Can I take a science during my fourth year of undergraduate, expecting to marticulate the next year, assuming I prepared for the MCAT meself?

it depends on the school, so you should check each that you are interested in on an individual basis. However, most schools like that you are finished with your pre-reqs by the time you apply. Yet, I know plenty of people who applied and successfully got accepted without finishing their pre-reqs.

The vast majority of med schools only require pre-reqs be done by matriculation. But I do remember seeing one school (don't recall which) that wanted them done by January of the year of matriculation. I don't recall seeing any schools that required all pre-reqs to be done at application time.
