So I did all my basic premed requirements and then some, but I'm missing one course for each UCSF and Harvard HST (vertebrate zoology and diff eqs, respectively). I've got one semester left at school, and I could theoretically take both of those, in addition to writing my thesis and finishing my neuro major, but I'd rather not, particularly since I'll only end up needing one of those courses, at most. Right now, I'm leaning towards possibly taking diff eqs next semester (because I'm actually interested in it, and at least it's not a lab), but I was wondering if anyone had suggestions for what to do.
Since I won't even know if I'm in to either of those schools 'til March or April (or later...), I was thinking that if I needed to (*cross fingers*), I could take whichever course I needed in a summer session (end of May - June), but the feasibility of that depends on when the programs start. I know Harvard starts in July, but do they allow/encourage a summer lab rotation? Does anyone know anything about when UCSF starts?
Thanks!
