Prerequisite classes in DE format?

Hi! Does anyone know if, in general, pre requisite courses can be taken in DE (online) format? It would still be during my scheduled academic semester with normal tests and exams but content is online instead of in a lecture. Thanks! Its for English.

Should be ok with an English class.

Many schools don't accept online science prereqs (especially if there is a lab component).
