Hey guys,

I've been reading these forums for a while now, but this is my first time posting! I was just wondering if you have to have completed all of the prerequisite courses for medical school before applying.

I still have the second semester of physics to complete during my final year of my undergrad. I've completed all of the other courses except that 1! It's not like I won't take it 😀. It's just only offered in the Spring and it conflicted with classes I needed this semester, etc. (I will complete the courses before matriculating.)

But the bottom line question -- Can I still apply to medical school without the prerequisite courses completed?

Most med schools have a sentence up on their website under "requirements for admission" that say when they want it completed by. So there isn't really any one answer to your question, it varies by school. 🙂
