Are the prerequisite requirements laid out by med schools required to be completed at the point of application or matriculation? For instance what if you submit your application to AMCAS in June without having taken biology 2 / Organic 2, but still get over a 30 on your MCAT and have great extra curriculars? Wouldn't they see on the AMCAS app that the other courses are in progress for second summer?

From what I've heard, as long as the requirements are completed before matriculation to the actual med school, you're fine.

Yeah as long as you have them done by the summer before you matriculate you are good.

The requirements have to be done prior to matriculation. The MCAT goes a lot better for people if they take classes like bio 2 and organic 2 though
