I'm in agreement with the people who said his behavior sounded more like neglect than bipolar disorder, ADHD, or any other known disorder.

Gotta say it's nothing new. Parents in past generations gave their kids things like opium and paregoric to keep them quiet.

Opium is safer.

No, I'm not exaggerating. It's one thing to sedate your kid so you can get some sleep, it's another to use a drug that can make your 3 year old son lactate. You can't diagnose mania or psychosis in 6 month olds, it's normal for them to scream and cry 24/7, think the world revolves around them, act recklessly and have imaginary friends. If you can't handle that...:idea: don't have kids.
