I've had to hold a presentation about the cause and effects of diabetes. This was not a powerpoint presentation, but rather somewhat like a seminar. I have no trouble remembering the order of things I have to address, but there are many times I had to pause due to a loss of words. I think this happens because I've gone over the talk so much in my head during preparation that I try to replicate the exact words and phrases when it came to the real thing. I have no trouble making eye contact, showing positive body language, etc. What do you guys think my problem is and how much reviewing do you do prior to giving presentations? And any tips will be appreciated.

I would recommend not just going over the talk in your head, but also presenting it multiple times, preferably in front of a friend. I find that it helps a great deal with the word-finding problems because it forces you to go through everything in real time. Your friend can also tell you whether the pauses actually seem problematic-- I find that I often talk too fast and don't pause enough during presentations because silence always feels uncomfortable when you're the presenter.
