I am a PGY1 in FP considering public health as a career; I realize that there are Prev Med residencies, but I am interested in international health/tropical medicine. Some programs look strong (i.e. Hopkins, Tulane) in these areas, but I also know that the London School of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene (LSTMH) has beaucoup courses for this sort of thing. Of course doing EIS with the CDC is another great option, but you'd probably have to walk on water to get into EIS. Anyway, any thoughts out there regarding what may be a better option?
