Prialt cost

Hi. I am struggling to purchase prialt and not lose money in doing so. The TerSera rep is not very helpful and has directed me to McKesson Speciality Care to purchase it. However, my cost for the drug is $4357.50 for 25mcg/ml 20ml sdv, and patient's medicare reimbursement is $4150. I am losing more than $200 for each refill.

Anybody else on the forum using Prialt? Any suggestions in obtaining prialt at a cheaper price?

We use Anazao. Here are there prices:

• Pass-through Vial (100 mcg/mL) Pass-through Price 1 vial (100 mcg) $810.00

• Pass-through 5 mL Vial (100 mcg/mL) Pass-through Price 1 vial (500 mcg) $3,904.00

• Pass-through 20 mL Vial (25 mcg/mL) Pass-through Price 1 vial (2,000 mcg) $3,904.00

Call PenTech. They do the refills so you can’t bill for them. But you can still get the patients In for reassessments prior to writing the order for them to do the refill.
