I am taking the princeton practice exams and the physical science section is kicking my butt. I have been getting great score on bio and verbal, but I cannot seem to raise the physical section. Please offer some advice

use BR physics and gen chem, i took the tpr course and it didn't help me, br is nice and easy to understand, great tips too.

Hey I don't think I ever got higher than a 9 on Princeton's physical sciences sections on the practice exam, but I got a 12 on the 4/24/09 MCAT for Physical sciences. The princeton review is a lot more technical and detail oriented while the actual test was more conceptual...my version of the MCAT was heavily oriented around gen chemistry which was good for me because I abhor physics.

If you are worried that your bad score in physical sciences section will translate to the test...i guess i'm just letting you know that I did 3 points better on the actual MCAT, and it was also a retake..i got a 9 on the actual mcat last september..and this was before i took the princeton course.

i did buy the berkeley review books...and I didn't finish reading them but they do a really good job at explaining things.

Hi, I am using hyperlearning right now and I do find them very math oriented and I wonder, in response to the statement of yours i bolded above, did this technical perspective of TPR hurt you? Since you say the exam was more conceptual, did you feel ill-prepared? That is my major concern right now. I feel great about my math and technical skills but wonder if there is too much of an emphasis on this in TPR? About 75% of PS questions need math in TPR and not sure if this is the norm for the actual mcat (i have not taken it or used the aamc exams yet.......) Any insight would be appreciated

cheers
