So, I'm looking for a good source for some more problems + passages. I already have all of the TPR books except for the "in-class compendium". I searched but cannot find much about it. Is it something I could work with on my own with the other TPR books? Is it worth getting for $30? I just want more problems!

Thank you!

there are no explanations in it, just answer keys.

i have heard the passages are pretty hard and were only meant to go over in class.

i have it, won't be using it as without explanations its not nearly as useful as the workbook - which has plenty of practice

unless someone wants to start an ICC explanation thread 🙂

Although there are tons of passages, there are no answer explanations as an above poster said. I think 75% of the value of practice passages comes from good answer explanations.

I would only use them if I had already exhausted all my other resources.

I thought the passages were much, much harder than the TPR exams and AAMCs. It was kind of a waste of time and it made me feel really bad about myself/dumb. This was my least favorite TPR book; stick to the workbook though! I did all the discretes and ~50% of the passages. 🙂 Much more realistic and helpful.

well i have a princeton review private tutor and we sometimes do a couple of questions together. he told me the book is to be done in class or with an instructor because it helps to hammer in some new point or what not. in addition he said the passages are much much more diffcicult than what will appear on an actual mcat. i would rather buy princetons other books or even get the hyperlearning books.

the passages in the ICC are a bit more difficult than the others in the science workbook/practice tests, so in that sense it's good to practice on harder stuff (although not ALL of them are harder) but also keep in mind there are no explanations, just answer key
