Hello,

I registered for Princeton Review summer MCAT courses 2 months ago, and a online tutor service called "homework help" automatically was placed in my cart. I was told at that time that the first month is free and then I will receive an email asking me whether to cancel it before the second month. However, I did not get any kind of email at all from them and they charged me 39.99 for the second month, even though I did not use it at all and I did not log into Princeton Review at all. What is worse, after I found out the charge and called them. One guy instructed me to cancel the service online by myself. I received a cancellation email from them. Then I was charged again after one month......

I called them several times but nobody answer the phone. Finally one person answer the phone and when I complained about the unreasonable charges, he just directly hung up on me ......

I thought Princeton Review is a famous company? How do they act like this? Has anybody encountered similar issue with me?

Call your bank or whichever card you use to make the purchases and tell them to stop accepting anything from princeton review 🙂

Thank you! I called my bank, they ask me to dispute it. I just do not understand why they keep charging me after the cancellation. I hate to dispute it every month....

And a reminder to everybody else, when register in princeton review, it is better not accept this homework tutor service free trial.

damn, I should be thankful. Princeton Review accidentally sent me an extra set of books from their online course when I signed up. So I essentially got double of all the books, including the science workbook and the CARS book.

I guess we can both see how messy their work are?

OK. I finally opened a ticket with them. I only used that "tutor" service once during the first free month in March. They claimed they cannot give me refund because I used all 94min on 5/7. I actually cancelled that service on 4/29 and received a confirmation email from them on the same day. They still claimed that I used 94 min on 5/7. I did not even log on to Princeton Review on that day.....

So I emailed them back and said I did not log on to Princeton Review at all for a month. And this is what I got back:
