Took the first practice test from the Princeton Review under testing conditions and got a 23 (8PS 8VR 7BS), essay hasn't been graded yet. Is this a good score for the first time? I've had 2 weeks of review so far, and am taking my last bio class as is, so I know I need to work on Bio a lot. Princeton says avg improvement by the end of the course is 8-10 points (which would be very nice based on a 23). They also said average first time score is 16-18, but I don't know if I should believe that.

Any thoughts would be helpful. Trying to feel about where I am right now (taking MCAT in May).

For the first time, it is a good score. The first TPR diag is really hard. Do all the homework, review all the material and take lots of practice exams and you will be fine.

yes, those are generally good scores. I've taken Princeton Review before and basically I think their Verbal is harder than actual MCAT. On the other hand, their PS & BS sections are easier. My actual VB score is significantly higher while my PS & BS scores are slightly lower.

Keep studying and try to get at least 10,10,10 on the practice.
