Can I get some advice on the following plans?

1. Aside from taking physics 2 and lab this upcoming summer and I am also considering taking the TPR course from June 1st - July 29th. How efficient can I possibly make this out to be? My past roommate did something like this and said that he wasn't able to utilize TPR to its fullest extent due to the summer classes he was taking and ended up scoring around 27-28 (but he did end up getting accepted into his home state's school). This would get me started on preparing for a Jan. 2016 mcat (which I plan on taking during the time anyways).

2. Should I just skip physics 2/lab in the summer and add it to my fall 2015 schedule (biochem, physiology, physics2/lab)? This way I could devote all of my summer into TPR, but at the cost of a heavier fall.

3. Skip TPR this summer. Use TPR books instead and study on my own time along with physics in the summer. Then take the test in january and if my score is one where it would be futile to retake then stop there. But, if I should need to improve the score, take the class again 2016 summer and retake the test at the end of august. This would make me slightly behind on the 2016 application cycle.

Thank you

Don't study for the MCAT and take classes at the same time, it will be too much. Focus on one or the other. Try to only take the MCAT once, it is emotionally draining and having to restudy due to an unsatisfactory score will be demoralizing.

This is probably be bad, but considering the new mcat, would it be wise to hold off physics 2 until spring 2016? I would have already taken the january test. This would be so that I can focus more on biochem and physiology during the fall 2015. I would have to prepare for physics 2 on my own, but it would all be in the context of preparing for the test.

All of that would allow me to do TPR in the summer and utilize the whole winter break to prepare for the test. In that context, my dilemma would be the ~4-5 month gap between summer and winter and how that would affect the preparation that was made during summer.

Princeton review is worthless. the quality is entirely dependent on the individual instructors. and None of them would have taken the new MCAT to be able to help you with strategies and stuff

Is that in the context of "at that point", TPR is worthless? If so, should I just utilize the new TPR books and do that over the summer, while taking physics 2/lab?

sorry, that was just a general comment haha. I dont think you should take classes and study for mcat at the same time, in my opinion it would be better to focus on mcat in the summer and go with plan #2.

This^^

And also I took TPR online and loved it

ok so TPR 2015 edition books in the summer and push physics 2 to the fall and pick up studying in the winter and go take that test
