I'm an old guy. I had jobs before medschool. Should I include some of these things on my ERAS? All of them were within the field of science/medicine. Are people including these "way back" experiences? In truth, they all took place when the average applicant would have been finishing undergrad.

Hi s_e_a,

I definitely would. Your experience sounds related. Also it sounds, you've lived a portion of your life before medschool, so why not bring that in? It's not like you started life when medschool started and I don't think that experience should be written off. It's experience that you have and that you could possibly bring in as a physician to the field, so I definitely would. It will also answer the question, what did you do before med-school etc, etc. I don't know, I always tend to like ppl better with some life-experience behind them, it just makes you more talented, more human, even in your old age (lol, j/k) 😉!

Attdg's/PD's???

G'luck buddy! :luck:
