I’ve lost track of supervision requirements debate, but did they really help out job market over past 10y?

I know a lot of community hospitals with satellites that could eliminate an fte if they just sent a doc to the satellite one or 2 times a week. Would also affect the locums market.

Wrong question. The real question is why did we try to justify residency slot expansion via unnecessary supervision reqs?
