All Input is appreciated. I am sorry if this topic has been discussed before.
My preference: Looking to do private practice, mostly interested in solid oncology and benign hematology. Ideally in private practice I would like to be able to see everything in solid oncology. I am wrestling between academic and semi academic community programs.
My question: Academic programs try and steer you towards research and picking an area of interest. Is this necessary if one is going towards private practice?
-Are most private practice groups looking to hire a subspecialist oncologist vs a general practitioner ?
