Because the AA is the average of 5 subjects (QR,RC, Bio, GC,OC) you will end up with a XX.2, XX.4, XX.6, XX.8 number. The .2 and .4 are rounded down, the .6 and .8 are rounded up.
 
AA is not based on the average of all scores obtained in each section; instead it is calculated on the number of questions you get right.

I believe you may be confusing AA with TS. AA is the arithmetic mean of all sections minus PAT while TS is your converted score based on 100 science questions.

You are correct about TS. I based my answer on the way my previous DAT scores were calculated and the ones I see on SDN.

This is the way I looked at it is if each individual score was rounded up or down, wouldn't that fluctuate the original AA?
