Hi guys,

I have a question regarding researching of schools I have interest in so that I know their strengths other than clinical/research/location. I'm not sure how to go about doing this after giving it a good couple hours of research. No university sites seem to really give their strengths, and every strength I think of seems to be so generic like the location is good for me, the clinical aspect is top notch, etc.

For example, let's say I have an interview at Case western coming up, so I go to the website. I tried going through every nook and cranny of their website, and I really haven't learned much lol. I see the best I can get on general dentistry is (http://dental.case.edu/aegd/). Am I going about this the wrong way? I feel like I shouldn't mention any specialties too early in the interview process?

Go to the interview feedback portion of SDN and read about the schools there. Also, do searches for them on the forums.

Other than that, it is really hard to find out anything "special" about the schools. The websites all tend to look the same. We feel your pain.

If you search school names in this forum and read past school threads, many people will state their experiences and what they liked/didn't like about each school (especially those "Which should I choose?" or X vs Y topics).
