So, I was taking a practice exam with a laminated sheet and a dry erase marker yesterday...
The friggin' thing wouldn't work if it's left uncapped for like a minute!
Plus, my palms sweat a lot in test settings so the laminated sheet was, let's say, on the slippery side, which made it far worse.
On top of that, the smell from the dry erase gives me the most terrible headache.
Does anyone have any horror stories about using these Godforsaken things during the real DAT? I've heard that some testing centers still give out paper and pencil for scratch. Are there any special accomodations for people who would literally kill for a good ol' set of writing utencils? I know it's the new rule for everyone since last year and all, but I really don't think it's fair for those who are adversely affected it in cases where the thing wouldn't even write on the laminated surface because of certain genetic traits. Please share your experiences.
