Anybody out there have a good procedure tracker for the palm? How are you guys keeping track of these? I have tried the one on PDAstreet, but it does not print or sync to the PC.

My program has us fill out a sheet, we write the info down and our RC takes care of it all. Apparently I've assisted or ran 80 trauma resuscitations already. Man that flew by.

Q, DO

Hi,

Here is a free Palm procedure tracker I wrote -- will be modifying it soon to allow printing, a conduit to create excel files and summary statistics.

Anyhow, enjoy...

I know that our residency uses the website www.eresidency.net

I believe that the residency pays a fee for it. It keeps track of all of your procedures.

Also, I believe that there is a palm component to it.

hey quinn........

what do you mean "ran" trauma resuscitations? and 80!!!!! as a first year resident? is this typical? if so......WOW!

Hey Endo. I have been using your tracker for a few weeks, but am not able to get it to sync with the desktop as an earlier post mentioned. Is there any way to get the information out of the palm besides pen and paper? Otherwise, I think it is a great product with the customized lists. I have all of our attendings added.
Feel free to email or PM me.

The ACGME may have a palm program for your specialty. In ophthalmology, I use the ACGME palm program (paid for by my residency program). This allows you to input all the necessary data and then upload it to their site.

It's simple and convenient.

We do all of our ED tracking in a computerized system. (We do all our lab ordering etc in it as well.) We just have to track ours in a book for off services.

I bought HanDbase and wrote my own, very simple program.
