No question that AMCAS is finally getting their act together:

-Submitted 7/24.

-Emailed Nancy Tillinghast on this past Monday. Got a call from her assistant on Thursday informing me that I was on priority list and would definitely be processed by Nov 1.

-Finally got Red Xs yesterday (Saturday).

-Processed today (Sunday).

Let the interview invitations commence!

Congrats!! :D Wow! AMCAS specialists working weekends! What a concept! :D

I saw your post and got all excited. I received the red x's yesterday. Alas, nothing new today. Maybe tomorrow. At least now I know there is hope that I will be processed before Christmas. Congratulations on your verification and good luck with the interview invites.

Sarena are you waiting for a processed date?

Hey guys, just wanted to say that I got the red x's yesterday... and that I submitted 9/30. I feel totally bad for those of you who were early to submit -- I was expecting to wait... have to say I feel a little guilty about it... :(

After verification, how many years would it take for AMCAS to transmit? The answer depends on school. Penn received the verified app a month ago, USC still did not receive the verified app I think.

Woohoo, I got the red X's today!! I submitted 7/29, sent an email to Ms T. last last Thursday, called AMCAS today and was informed that I've been on the priority list and that there isn't any thing more he can do to speed up the process.

What's after the red x's by the way? I'm so excited, I can almost pee my pants!!! :)

Don't get too excited, now. ;) After the red X's come the blue slashes and X's after your coursework. Scroll to the end of the application to see what they mean. You'll know you're through the verification process when there's a date after Date Processed in the upper right hand corner of your app on the "Print Application" screen. Ccongrats on getting them to work on it! :D
