I asked my chemistry professor in July if he can write a letter to me and he agreed.
Since then I have emailed him three times reminding him that the deadline is 8/31 (including one email last week) He hasn't responded. I am afraid he will totally forget about the LOR, what should I do? I afraid If I keep bothering and reminding him it may leave a bad impression of me. I took his class last school year but I haven't met him for over 5 months.

Do two things. VIsit him in person and make it about just visiting him to say hi. If you can get 5 minutes with him talk a little about the new school year, the weather, etc and The last topic must be about your application and mention the LOR.

Another thing is to email him with some ammunition. Think personal essay. Explain to him why you chose pharmacy as a career path, and how to you got to that conclusion. Mention/remind him of any extracurricular stuff you have done in general or with him (internship/TA) etc. Title the email "Here's is some ammunition for the LOR" and start off by saying how you thought this might help him with the LOR.

The email should spark some interest and hopefully be a catalyst for the LOR. It'll show him you are willing to do your part and it will also gurantee a decent letter leaning towards positive remarks and not just neutral.

Hi thanks The thing is I've already emailed him my personal statement and resume a month back.
He said I am a great student and he would love to write a letter for me a year back. He probably just like to do it the last minutes but It's really stressing me.

I am going to find his office hour by asking people who's taking his class. It would be akward if I email him for his office hour just so I can remind him to write the letter since the email itself would do the job.

Well at this point you HAVE to go see him and you will have to be blunt about the deadline. If the professor is as nice as you describe him to be then I am sure he would understand you completely.

If you can't see him within the next few days, you should find someone else asap. By not responding to your emails, it seems like he's backing out and doesn't want to do it anymore. You don't want to keep on waiting and have ur application completed later than when you want it to. Goodluck

Maybe he found out that you refer to yourself as "Bitch" and decided not to write you a LOR? Strangeness like that tends to resonate with others even when trying to act otherwise.

Are you sure the guy wants to write you a LOR?:eyebrow:
