😱 who else is totally bummed that we have to pay to fill out these financial aid forms in addition to the FAFSA? tacky tacky tacky.. if anyone's interested, we could start a list of the schools that require the PROFILE ($23 + $18 per additional school) and/or NEED ACCESS ($15/school) in addition to the FAFSA!!

what are PROFILE & NEED ACCESS 😕 how do we find out if we need to fill them out?

the best way is to look At your schools' financial aid web sites which will tell you what you need to fill out. the website for PROFILE is: http://profileonline.collegeboard.com/index.jsp and the website for Need Access is www.needaccess.org. I can tell you that:

Harvard: PROFILE
Emory: PROFILE
Duke: PROFILE
Yale: Need Access
Brown: Need Access
Dartmouth: Need Access
Hopkins: Need Access
SLU: Need Access
UCinn: Need Access
URochester: Need Access

and of course...there's more....

bumping.... lrmed started a good list... and i think we're all going crazy right now trying to figure out what we need to do for particular schools...

edit: i checked the Duke website, and it says to fill out ACCESS (and says nothing about filling out PROFILE).
