Program Info

I am a MS-3 who wants to do radiology. I am currently trying to look at a few programs to get more info. I have looked at FREIDA & found some very helpful info. I was wondering if there are any other resources that will help answer questions like:

1) What is the average USMLE Step 1 score of residents?
2) Do you offer 4th year visiting rotations (if so what about housing)?
3) How many of your residents had research experience before the match?

& other questions like that. I know this info may be very hard to come by on a general website, but is it prudent to email the program directors & ask for this info directly or is that overstepping my bounds as a MS-3?

I dont know that I would email the PDs for that info. They are really busy this time of year.

As far as your questions... most programs dont release stats about average scores/participation in research so that will be really hard to find. As far as rotations, those are typically done through the med school so info about those can be found on the med school web page (housing info can usually be found there as well). Most big/university rads programs do have visiting rotations.
