Are most entering their ranklist this week or next? Do programs make very last minute changes/?🙂

The smart ones don't. Most of the time their lists are finalized a week or so (at the most) after the last interview. Trust me when I say that they don't agonize over their top 1 or 2.

I want to imagine the elderly program director fretting over Marion vs. Keith for the no. 1 spot. Flip a coin..says the associate PD. No!!!!! Says the PD. 'She wanted to moonlight....she is purrrrrrfect. But he has three degrees. So, he is purrrrrfect as well'. Then the PD posts their list 'in no particular order' on SDN and gets told by gutonc to sort it for us.

Look, Marion and Keith are both great, you'll do fine with either one of them. And if you happen to go down to #72 on your list I think your prospects will be good.

For what? Considering that there were interviews in early February I assume you aren't talking about the program ROL deadline.

I got an email from one of my programs saying that they submitted their final rank order list midway through last week.
