Has anyone from Florida, taken the DAT or any test in this prometric center before?

5555 anglers Avenue, Dania Beach?

I just wanted to know some info:
As are the pens erasable? Or permanent.
Pros and Cons?
😀

Im not from Florida, but I can guarantee you that the markers are permanent.

I went there to ask, and it's permanent pen...

If you need more paper, you raise your hand, and they'll exchange your sheet of paper for a new one... as it says in the email from prometric.

The girl didn't even know, she had to ask around, so I didn't ask about starting writing during the tutorial...

All centers are practically the same. Just let them know that you will be needing more sheets so they can bring them as soon as you raise your hand. Really not that much of a difference from when they had the erasable ones. Actually I think it is better because my pens used to dry up and I would need new ones which was more of a hassle.

I didn't take the dat yet, but I think I would have preferred to be able to erase the board, especially for the hole punches

Don't worry. I had the "permanent" markers too. You get two sheets front and back for your test and I don't think you won't be using it too much for the science section (maybe you'll take up just one sheet max). Then you'll have the other sheet for the PAT. Make your grids small enough to fit over 15 grids, but big enough to work with. If you get really desperate mid test, I am sure some sweat/spit will take care of the marker (gross, but it's not permanent, just hard to erase with an eraser). During your break, exchange your sheets for new ones.

I am sure you will be fine.

Like the others said, it isn't a big issue. Make 15 4x4 grids for hole punches during the tutorial and you'll be alright. Some also make 5-7 small lists of 0-5 for cube counting. I did both of these and fit all the hole punch and cube counting on the front side of 1 of the papers. still 3/4 sides to use for SNS, then exchange during intermission.
