For those of you familiar with both, what are the advantages/disadvantages to both?

I would like to know the answer too, please
👍

In my opinion, APHA is the best though it does not cover everything so need some supplement like q-bank of rx prep or chasenaplex. I did not use pronto but I have seen that its mostly APHA stuff.

thanx for the help, but what i have read from other studentdoctor pharmacists is APHA goes in too much detail for the exam, is that true?

As I mentioned, naplex does ask questions from the stuff that's not in APHA, so you need to go in detail of various things. When you will take practice tests of aforementioned website, then you will know. I highly recommend studying APHA thoroughly and if you supplement it with other source like internet or remingto/cpr, better.

I can't speak for RxPrep but Pronto should NOT be used as a stand alone material. It contains some good bits of information, but as a whole, it doesn't cover enough. It is good as a supplementary review source, though.

I used Rxprep alone and I passed NAPLEX and CPJE from the first time. Just FYI, don't rely totally on Rxprep in calculations.

I used prontopass and I passed cpje, naplex, and 4 state mpje tests with flying colors... If you stick with one source and know it inside and out you will pass regardless. the key is do not spread yourself out too thin but rather know your study material well whatever you end up choosing. I liked prontopass because it made things easier to remember with pneumonics (sp?) and the calculations were all lined up. All I had to do was make my way through the flashcards
