I have tried searching this forum for the answer....but this forum is massive!

Anyways, when writing a 'thinking of you' letter to your top choice, is it PC or not to say they are your top choice? Or, are you just allowed to say that you were thinking of them? 🙂

Now that interviews are over, saying a program is a top choice would be honest.....but how best to convey that without going over the 'right' way of telling?

Thanks for any input!

It's probably best to ask this in the dedicated forum for your specialty. Cultures vary widely depending on the type of program.

I matched in surgery after telling my program directly, by phone and letter, that they were my #1 choice.
