PS prompt?

so i'm about to write my PS. just one problem. i don't know exactly what i'm suppose to write about. i know that the purpose is to convey why you want to do vet med & etc, but is there a specific prompt? can't seem to find it...

Easy there killer ;-) The prompt can be found on the VMCAS, which isn't up yet because it's too early-which means that you don't need to be worrying about it just yet. I can't remember it off the top of my head, but you'll find it easy enough in a couple short months here when the VMCAS opens. For now just focus on gathering all your experiences, maybe trying to add up your hours to date, and just think in general about what experiences have influenced you and make you a strong, unique candidate. Start piecing together some anecdotes that really SHOW your qualities to the adcomm.

yeah...i'm not so good at relaxing...in a weird way i sometimes like the pressure...but anywhooo thanks for the info!

Copy and pasted from my VMCAS app from last year:

"Personal Statement (MANDATORY)
Your personal statement should be written clearly and succinctly - 5000 characters (including spaces) have been allotted for your statement.

Discuss briefly the development of your interest in veterinary medicine. Discuss those activities and unique experiences that have contributed to your preparation for a professional program. Discuss your understanding of the veterinary medical profession, and discuss your career goals and objectives. "

It's good to be prepared!

I wrote mine last night b/c I need to bring it to my mock interview at the career center early next week.

They change the wording of the prompt every so often, but it's basically the same every year.
