Just a heads up to everyone to check each schools website for the most up to date PREview information.

For example, the AAMC states George Washington recommends PREview (see here: The AAMC PREview® Professional Readiness Exam Participating Medical Schools)

But if you actually go on the George Washington website, it will say
"No, applicants are not required to take the AAMC PREview exam. If you do not have an AAMC PREview score, your application will be considered complete. While the admissions committee may see that you did not take the AAMC PREview exam, they will be instructed to absolutely disregard missing AAMC PREview scores."

GW is the only school recommending for PREview in my list, so I'm definitely not going to take it!

Is there anything not accurate in this thread? Please let me know so I can confirm and correct.

I agree, what your describe is true: GW recommends but does not require PREview.

There is no discrepancy because recommended is not the same as required

"Recommend" to me implies that students w/o a PREview score will be at a clear disadvantage.

Saying adcoms will completely disregard missing PREview scores implies the test is that not important in their admissions process imo
