As many of you know MD schools have Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) which is a MD honor society. DOs also have an honor society called Psi Sigma Alpha. The information that I have heard is that basically the top 15% of each COM's class is invited to join but I could not find any more information on the honor society.

The AOA honor society has a great website that anybody can find information about the society. The AOA honor society also seems to be very involved with it's members and chapters.

I could not find any website for Psi Sigma Alpha so I could not find anymore information. For any members of Psi Sigma Alpha could you tell me what the perks of the membership are, and how involved the honor society is.

Do any Psi Sigma Alpha members have any ideas of improving the honor society so that it is more well known and transforming it so that it is more involved with it's chapters and COM?

Seems like if members where at all involved with the society it would at least have a website.

PSA is purely academic while the other Osteopathic honor society, Sigma Sigma Phi, is based on academics plus leadership/community service. Therefore, SSP is considered to be the Osteopathic equivalent to AOA because it too has a leadership/community service membership criteria. SSP also has its own check box on ERAS (like AOA). There is a website for SSP but I don't remember the address.

Does anyone know if there is an actual website to Psi Sigma Alpha Honor Society? I can't seem to find anything. I'd love to learn more info.
