Hi there SDN, longtime lurker here. I got an email from my school today inviting me to join Psi Sigma Alpha along with the rest of the top 15% of my class (we just finished our second year). This honor society doesn't seem to have a website and most of the information that I found while googling brought me back here so...what do you guys know about this? Will it matter when I'm applying to residencies?

well, if you are talking of NYCOM, then I was also in your boat. I received the letter and thought it was some money scam, but it is actually true. Congrats. At nycom, it goes back some time and I was told that it looks impressive to the NYCOMEC Hospitals we rotate through, providing you will actually do a residency there. Furthermore, administration really respects this honor, and I have had "some special treatment" because of it. So go eat food get medal and certificate. Congrats
