Just wondering if anyone has any contact information on psychaitry training in Ireland, I've heard people say it's easier than the UK but not say how to find out further information/ job advertisements etc. And also, does anyone know how much Ireland pays? Thanks.

Here's the link to the Irish College of Psychiatrists, who regulate psychiatric training in Ireland:

Also check out the Royal College of Psychiatrists (UK):

There's currently a shortage of psychiatrists here! I assume pay is in line with the standard junior doctor (NCHD) salary scales. More info on salaries can be got from the Irish Medical Organisation (IMO) - http://www.imo.ie/

Thanks for that. It seems that there's a shortage of psychiatrists everywhere... which is a guess nice for me.
