Arbour HRI Hospital in Brookline, MA is recruiting a new Medical Director. Services at the hospital include inpatient and partial hospital programs for adult and older adult patients with psychiatric, addiction, and other specialty treatment issues including trauma and eating disorders. All services are provided by highly trained multidisciplinary clinicians and support staff.
The Medical Director holds a critical leadership position at HRI working closely with Administration, Medical Staff, and all other clinical and administrative support staff. Position duties i nclude administrative clinical management and direct clinical care of patients in hospital based services of inpatient and partial programs. The Medical Director will work closely with staff on quality improvement initiatives, utilization management and risk management, providing clinical administrative supervision to other physicians and clinical staff. Program development and liaison activities with community referral sources and managed care companies are also activities the medical Director is involved in. The direct clinical care duties include initial evaluations and assessments, treatment team leadership and management of a limited patient caseload.
Position is fulltime offering competitive salary, benefits and bonus opportunity. There is no call. Ideal candidates will be Board Certified in Psychiatry and have previous clinical/administrative experience.
Located in Brookline Arbour HRI Hospital is conveniently located to central and suburban areas of Boston.
