Psychiatry Residency Open Positions/Transfers

Hi All-
I have not been on the forum since intern year started (good to be back).
My fiancee may be taking a job in a different city and I am wondering how hard it is and what the process is to transfer programs. Does there need to be an open posistion that I find? I have no idea how this would work.
