What Books And Questions Do You Recommend? Heard This Is The Hardest Shelf!

Psych was my last rotation, I bought a used copy of appleton & lange and photocopied one of my classmates first aid. Had ample time to read during psy, I studied hard and crushed the shelf....which was wierd b/c i havent done so hot on the shelf exams thusfar.

just wondering if people thought i should know the psychotherapy types for the shelf? also how about stuff on id, ego, etc.?
and one last thing, how about defense mechanisms?
