Hi all, this is my first thread so go easy on me!
I am currently a Brain and Behavioral Sciences major at Purdue University. At other schools it is called Behavioral Neuroscience. My major is in the college of Health and Human Sciences and is considered to be apart of the psychology department (however, it is more science based and there is a separate major for just psychology). I already know that psychology is not generally included onto your science GPA but on the AMCAS website it also states that neuroscience classes are included onto the science GPA.
Some of my behavioral neuroscience include PSY 222 Introduction to Behavioral Neuroscience, PSY 429 Hormones and Behavior, PSY 519 Introduction to Developmental Cognitive Neuroscience, etc...
My question is will these be included onto the science GPA? I am have trouble differentiating whether it is determined at science or non-science.
I found this link for Boston College (http://www.bc.edu/schools/cas/psych/undergrad/opportunities/premed.html) which lists a number of psychology classes that will count as science GPA classes and now I'm even more confused.
