I now spend a few hours of my day sitting in traffic so I finally have time to get into podcasts. I enjoy WTF, NPR, and a few of the big ones, but I was wondering if anybody knew of any interesting Psych-related podcasts. Thanks!

The Savvy Psychologist is pretty good! I think they just got a new host.

Unpopular Culture is one I recently got into! Super cool and they cover some fascinating topics!

If you're willing to pay:

1) AudioDigest. Look into the gift card option. It's an easy way to get CEs, and you can get a "free" iPad.

Free:

1) Hidden Brain
2) Science Vs.
3) MGH's psychiatry, neurology, etc, podcasts (many big name AMC psychiatry residencies have podcasts). I find some of these are decent jumping off points for future investigation.
4) SAGE and other journals
5) SawBones
6) 99% invisible
7) Where Should We Begin (not my thing, but it is nice to hear vignettes since far out of school)
etc.

I tried to listen to Jordan Peterson's podcast a few times, I just can't do it.

If you try to listen to Joe Rogan, remember that his psychologists are usually either Jordan Peterson or a psychologist who went to an online school.

Definitely the experimental rather than clinical side of things but can't leave out Two Psychologists, Four Beers.

Very Bad Wizards is about equally split between philosophy and psychology but Paul Bloom is a frequent guest so I will put it in the psychology camp.

Just started listening to “Therapy for Black Girls”

I have to be in the right mood for “where should we begin”

Invisibilia is interesting.

Psychology in Seattle
Pop Psych 101
Psychologists off the Clock
The Psychology Podcast

Not Psychology related but Crackpot is a great podcast. I’m not a conspiracy theorist but I find their podcast quite enjoyable and humorous.

Not specific to psychology overall, but there are some individual episodes in of some skeptic podcasts (c.f., Rationally Speaking Podcast; Oh No! It's Ross and Carrie Podcast) that pertain to psychology, as well as some good stuff on critical thinking related to other "therapies."
