in my school at UCI, psychology was considered a Social Science. But there were some psych classes that were also counted as bio courses b/c it talked extensively about the brain and the specific functions of different part of the brain.

but generally speaking, I would say psych classes are not science classes. I majored in psych too and it was a 'B.A" not a "B.S". now that's bs

Psychology is considered a social science/humanities type of class. Although your question is dependent on each school in determining science courses, I would say no to your question. Psychology is in the league of sociology, economics, political science, etc, and not in the league of chemistry, biology, physics, etc. The latter group is usually refered to as the "natural" sciences.

You may want to check with each school, but I'll bet all of Vegas's money that Psych will NOT be considered in science GPA calculations at any school. Let me know if I'm wrong.

Another vote for social science. The scientific method applies in psychological experimentation and statistical math is used extensively. It's a new science and not as advanced as some others, but still a science.
