So I graduated with a BS about 3 years ago. At the time I really didn't know what I wanted to do, and I didn't have the greatest worth ethic and my GPA reflected that. I have spent the last 3 years working as a Physiologist for a hospital and a PT clinic. During my time at the PT clinic I realized this is something I would love to do. I've looked at this board searching for an answer but couldn't really find the precise answer. I have a ton of hands on experience and can get a ton of recommendation letters. I have yet to take my GRES (have studied for them, did real well on practice tests), but I'm sure I will do good on them if taken (depends on the schools I'd apply for).
Now my question is it worth going to a community college and retaking some if not all the prereq classes or would it just be a waste of time. I know some schools look at your last 60 hours so I'm hoping it wont be a complete waste of time. I had a professor when I was in my undergrad that would always tell us his story and how we went to community school after he graduated and eventually got into a PT school, but this was in the 90s and it was just a masters program at that time.
I know I wasn't committed to my studies before but after being out of school for so long I have an urge to go back and give it another shot. Any piece of advice would be great, regardless if its telling me not to do it, or to do it.
Thanks for your time.
