I am finishing up my Academic Update on PTCAS, and I've run into a problem. I was planning to attend a school this Spring to take my last prereq, but I have enrolled for the same prereq at a different school instead. Now I can't figure out how to delete the initial school from my app.

I added the new school with no problem and deleted the "course" and "session" that I am no longer taking. I can't delete the school though, which leaves me with "Missing Items" in my coursework section.

Sent an email their way, but thought I may get a quicker response here. Any ideas?😕

Hey- I would call PTCAS. That's even faster than here. They seem slow about some things so email probably isn't the best way to reach them. I called once after hours and then called the next day to make sure they got my voicemail and the woman that I talked to knew exactly who I was and could answer my question. I've found them to be quite helpful on the phone every time I've called. (617)612-2040

Amazingly, they responded to my email in less than 5 minutes, hah. If anyone else has this issue, this is the response I received.

"The Colleges and Universities section does not open up for editing during the Academic Update. Please simply leave the planned/in progress coursework at this school listed in your application. PTCAS affiliated programs understand that planned/in progress coursework is subject to change at any point, so having it listed in your application is not a problem."

I'm not happy with the answer, but I suppose there's nothing I can do. I am not really comfortable telling my schools that I am currently taking a prereq class that I never took at a school I've never attended. I feel like I'm lying.

ETA: I did go back into my application and change the course title to "Intended course was not offered" and changed the course number and credit hours to "0".
