Im filling out my application and I have a question about the ptcas extra curricular section. It asks how many hours over the span and then how many weekly hours. Say I volunteer for a two day event for 5 hours ....what am I suppose to put for weekly hours? Even long term events where the days are kind of scattered I don't really know what to write.

If you put that the total was 5 hours and the weekly amount was 5 hours, it'll be pretty obvious that the even was less than a week, and people will leave it at that. What else could you possibly put?

I don't think that any school is going to be concerned with exactly what you put for hours on the extra-curricular page. The format of that section is less than ideal. For something that was just one week I'd do what the previous poster said. For something spread out, I just sort of averaged the hours over the time period. So if I spent 100 hours on something over 20 weeks I just said 5 hours a week even though it was more like 20 hours some weeks and 1 hour other weeks. As long as the way you answer is reasonable and you can explain in an interview what you did if they ask for specifics then it's fine.
