I have a quick question for everyone - is there a way to check the status of your applications via PTCAS? I know we're updated when they're e-mailed, but is there a section that reflects something like "Accepted/Rejected/Waitlisted"? For some reason I thought there at least used to be something like this but I don't know if it still exists. I also thought other programs can see this info. for all of their applicants, but maybe it's only posted on their end....?

So in terms of seeing your status on PTCAS, I don't think that exists, at least not that I'm aware of. There's an FAQ on PTCAS about that and they say that status of applications comes from schools directly not PTCAS. Other programs can only see where you've been accepted and whatnot once they make a decision. I'm pretty sure they can see your other decisions once they accept you, I'd presume the same goes for wait list and rejection, but I'm not 100%. Sorry I can't tell you something definitively but that's all I know!

If a school decides to accept, waitlist or reject you they are going to contact you directly...probably by email but some I imagine haven't transitioned from snail mail...

Personally I kinda like the charm of getting it in a paper envelope...but I guess then your anxiety levels are at the mercy of the United States Postal Service lol...
