Hi guys, been lurking these boards for a while, but this is my first post. I am planning on taking the PTCE exam in august, but I am wondering how easy is it really? I took the practice exam offered by the PTCB and got 73% of the questions right, no studying, no tech experience at all.
The math questions were extraordinarily easy - I've taken over 2 years of chemistry courses, so the dimensional analysis required was pretty basic. The rx sigs were all easily recognizable just based on my exposure to various medical personel in my immediate family.
The questions I had to just guess on were along the lines of "Which of these medications needs to be refridgerated?" And it lists four medications I have never even heard of, etc.
My question is, is the actual exam as easy as the practice exam given, and if so, should I study much for the exam? I appreciate any help or advice anyone can give me.
