pub q

[Keewee]

during my senior year, i worked on a year-long research project that culminated in an honors thesis. Does this count as a pub in the traditional use of the word? My thesis is in the library and has a call number and all that. thank you!

Unless it is in a peer reviewed journal, it is unfortunately not a publication. You can write that you wrote an honors thesis and that it involved x, y, z... but it is not a true publication in the sense of the word.

If it isn't PubMed searchable, you can still mention the thesis component of the experience at the end of the Research narrative where you described the work you did for it.
