If someone has posted a thread that is OBVIOUSLY DYING to start an f'ing riot, LEAVE IT THE HELL ALONE!!! Don't even acknowledge them. SDN would be a much better place if we just ignored all topics regarding URM status, MD/DO, retakes, getting a residency, getting a C, getting a B+/A-.

Wow. I was so stupid before. Now I see the light! Thank you, so so so so so much for showing me the light. I thought I was enjoying myself by participating in threads that no one forced me to, but now I see that I wasn't doing what you liked, and therefore was an idiot and also not enjoying myself after all.

TBH the ignorance gets me when they make URM threads. Most of us come from rough backgrounds and we grew up in bad neighborhoods, 1st time college students, parent's didn't even go to middle school, went to crappy schools and financial problems. Well that's some of my problems I had to overcome and still working on the rest.

This has already been stated (more eloquently) in the sticky at the top of the pre-allo forum, reproduced below.

Trolling:

• Trolling = account ban
• Responding to troll = warning or ban
• Don't get baited by a troll, instead use the "Report" link at the bottom of the troll post. It's the best way to destroy a troll.

Please be aware that engaging with an obvious troll may result in a warning, and repeated offenses may result in a ban. If you think someone is a troll, simply report the post and it will be handled by the appropriate moderation staff.
