PUCO vs. NECO vs. SCCO

Hi all,

I have been accepted to PUCO, NECO and SCCO. Since interviews were virtual this year, I wasn't able to visit each campus to get a feel and now I'm having a hard time deciding 🙁 I was wondering if anyone has chosen between these schools and which factors they used to decide. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!!

Hi! I got into both NECO and SCCO. Since I live in southern CA, I decided upon SCCO- I visited pre-opt club day, they have a great program with good board pass rates, and are welcoming/friendly with a nice clinic. NECO would have also been a great choice since their board passing rates are good, but Boston is cold haha. The area and vibe would probably have been a nice change however, and the school and area looks beautiful. I would prefer to practice in southern CA after optometry school which was another reason to stay in CA.
